Overview

An automotive company is seeking a strong Embedded Software Engineer to support next‑generation automotive infotainment systems. This role is hands‑on at the kernel / low‑level OS layer, working primarily in Embedded C / C++ on Zephyr RTOS.

This is a highly technical role suited for engineers comfortable operating close to hardware, RTOS internals, and system‑level problem solving.

• Develop and maintain embedded software in C / C++ for automotive infotainment platforms
• Work within the Zephyr RTOS, including kernel‑level components
• Debug and troubleshoot low‑level OS, drivers, and system interactions
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams supporting in‑vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to system stability, performance, and reliability

• Strong proficiency in Embedded C and C++
• Hands‑on experience with Zephyr RTOS
• Experience working at or near the kernel layer (RTOS internals, scheduling, memory, interrupts, drivers)
• Solid understanding of embedded systems architecture
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills in constrained environments
• Automotive or infotainment system experience
• Experience with other RTOS environments (FreeRTOS, QNX, VxWorks)
• Exposure to hardware bring‑up, BSPs, or device drivers
• Experience working in Linux‑based embedded ecosystems (even if Zephyr‑focused)
