What You'll Do

* Advance the planning and reasoning capabilities of the end-to-end driving policy model through cutting-edge reinforcement learning (RL) methods

* Research and develop novel RL algorithms to achieve superhuman safety levels

* Scale up RL data pipelines for collection and high-quality labeling

* Have an outsized impact by shipping your models to millions of Tesla vehicles worldwide

What You'll Bring

* Extensive experience in RL research and development

* Proficiency in Python and a deep understanding of software engineering best practices

* Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or Tensor Flow

* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

* Strong work ethic and willingness to take on multiple roles

Expected Compensation

$176,000 - $420,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
