RoleEmbedded Legal Engineer – This is a high‑impact role that offers the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across all areas of the business, supporting critical legal‑related workflows and outcomes. As an Embedded Legal Engineer, you'll be uniquely positioned at the intersection of engineering and legal, working directly within our Legal Team to transform high‑touch, manual workflows into scalable, automated solutions. This mission‑critical role combines deep technical expertise with an intimate understanding of end‑to‑end legal operations challenges, enabling you to build tooling that directly impacts all Palantirians across the globe.
CoreResponsibilities
- Design and build custom applications, integrations, and workflows that eliminate manual processes
- Wrangle data and use AI to accelerate and enhance critical operations
- Shape team strategy and drive projects from ideation to deployment to deliver real value
- Develop embedded relationships, building alongside user‑groups and key stakeholders
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non‑technical individuals and work comfortably in a constantly evolving environment with dynamic objectives and iterative user feedback
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross‑functional projects to scale systems and processes from ideation to deployment
- Interest and curiosity in bringing technical solutions to the legal space
- 2+ years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency with one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, or Type Script/Java Script
- Hands‑on experience leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance operations
The estimated salary range for this position is $100,000 – $145,000 per year. Total compensation may also include restricted stock units, a sign‑on bonus, and other potential future incentives. Compensation is based on individual qualifications, work experience, and skills.
