Accelerated Vehicle Design:
Automating Catia V6 regression testing allows Rivian to significantly speed up vehicle engineering cycles by instantly catching CAD integration errors that would otherwise require tedious manual inspection.

Intelligent Quality Control:
Integrating AI into this automation framework enables the system to predict and prioritize high-risk design changes, ensuring the structural and functional integrity of complex EV models after every system update.

Strategic Talent Pipeline:
Creating a dedicated Coop role for this project provides a cost-effective way to modernize Rivian's product lifecycle management (PLM) workflows while training early-career engineers in their specific software ecosystem.

• C++ API Integration:
  Programmatically interact with the Dassault Systèmes ecosystem by leveraging Catia V6 C++ APIs (CAA RADE) to extract geometric data, manipulate 3D assemblies, and execute automated sequences directly within the CAD environment.

• Agentic AI Implementation:
  Design and deploy autonomous AI agents capable of exploring complex vehicle assemblies, dynamically generating edge-case test scenarios, and prioritizing high-risk structural changes without human intervention.

• Full-Stack Application Development:
  Build and maintain scalable backend infrastructure and internal tooling that orchestrates the execution of these AI-driven tests, providing a seamless interface for Rivian's mechanical and software engineering teams.

• Automated Regression Architecture:
  Architect a robust continuous integration (CI) pipeline that connects the Catia V6 environment with the AI testing framework, ensuring comprehensive regression suites run reliably after every major PLM or vehicle design update.

• Intelligent Debugging & Analysis:
  Analyze complex geometric failures and systemic anomalies flagged by the AI agents, collaborating cross-functionally to resolve bugs, refine the testing algorithms, and ensure the structural integrity of Rivian's EV platforms.

• Must be currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree at an accredited university.
• Actively pursuing a degree or one closely related in computer science or a closely related computational field.

• C++ & Spatial Geometry:
  Strong proficiency in C++ object-oriented programming with a solid grasp of 3D mathematics, vector geometry, and ideally, prior exposure to complex CAD APIs like Catia V6 CAA RADE.

• Applied Agentic AI:
  Demonstrated experience or advanced coursework working with autonomous AI agents, large language models (LLMs), or reinforcement learning frameworks applied to automated decision-making and workflow orchestration.
