Palantir is hiring Software Engineer Interns in Palo Alto to contribute production code to Palantir Gotham, Foundry or Apollo, products deployed at some of the most important institutions in the public and private sectors.

Palantir's product development organisation is made up of small teams, each owning a specific part of a product. You might join a team building a Foundry front-end application or a component of the Gotham release infrastructure. Interns are involved across the product lifecycle, from idea and prototype to shipping, and are paired with a mentor. You may get to meet users directly, on an auto-manufacturer's assembly line or alongside an analyst at their desk.

The stack:
Java and Go for backend, Type Script for frontend, with Cassandra, Spark, Elasticsearch, React and Redux, and Gradle and Git Hub for build tooling. Palantir says it does not matter which languages you know when you join, but it does matter that you write clean code and learn new languages quickly.

Pay: the estimated salary for this position is $10,500 per month.

Who it is for: you must be planning to graduate in 2028, and this should be your final internship before graduating. Palantir requires an engineering background in a field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering or Physics, familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure and front-end frameworks, and coding experience in Java, C++, Python, JavaScript or similar. It values an active US security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
