We are looking for a Director of Football Events & On-Campus Recruiting to report to the Associate General Manager. The role will plan, coordinate and execute all football‑related events on campus—including official and unofficial recruiting visits, junior days, camps and major program events. This one‑year fixed‑term appointment ensures that every prospective athlete, family and guest experiences Stanford Football at its best.
Responsibilities- Plan and execute all on‑campus recruiting events, including official visits, unofficial visits, junior days and camps.
- Develop and manage visit itineraries, schedules and staff assignments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for communication with prospective student‑athletes and their families during visits.
- Coordinate with Operations, Recruiting and Player Development to ensure a seamless, high‑touch experience for each recruit.
- Manage logistics for special events (e.g., Team Banquet, Signing Day celebrations, donor events).
- Supervise event logistics staff, interns and student ambassadors.
- Partner with DAPER facilities, catering and marketing teams for event setup and execution.
- Develop systems for visitor feedback, event metrics and continuous improvement.
- Manage the recruiting event budget in collaboration with Operations and Recruiting leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
- Organized, high‑energy leader.
- Experience running large‑scale events, including recruiting weekends.
- Detail‑oriented, people‑focused and able to thrive in fast‑moving environments.
This position, along with all DAPER coaches and staff, is responsible for maintaining the integrity of Stanford’s intercollegiate athletics program and the university’s reputation. The role must comply with University policies, NCAA and ACC rules and regulations, and ensure that involvement with Athletics Department activities does not negatively impact relationships with faculty, staff, students or alumni.

The expected pay range for this position is $99,698 – $124,938 per annum.
