Driver:
The Driver is responsible for transporting residents to and from appointments and outings using the community vehicles, which may include bus, van, limousine, sedan and trams. This position ensures residents receive all appropriate assistance during outings. Driver fulfills all operational tasks involving driving.

• Minimum 6 months of experience as a bus/van driver.
• Valid and current driver's license for vehicle class driven at time of hire.
• Willing and able to obtain CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required or willingness to become certified.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Clean DMV driving record.
• Knowledge of the surrounding neighborhood area.
• Excellent communication skills, patience and ability to deal with stress and the needs of older adults.
• Client and customer-focused approach to problem solving and goal setting.
• Sensitivity to the needs of older adults.
