Position
ART Teacher (MATERNITY LEAVE) – Start:
Immediately to middle of 2nd Semester
Community High School District 218
- State of Illinois Professional Educator License with Endorsement of Visual Arts
- Preferred:
Experience instructing ceramics and sculpture across various skill levels - Familiarity with National Core Arts Standards
- Knowledge of current pedagogical & assessment strategies
- Strong classroom management skills
- Knowledge of integration of appropriate technology
- Desire to work in a collegial, team environment
- Experience designing art assessments
- Knowledge of best practices in art instruction
- Experience in fine arts, ceramics, and sculpture
