Life Enrichment Coordinator

The facilities are thoughtfully designed with individual "houses" that include living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens, baths, and laundry areas. Walking paths, visual cues, and homelike amenities afford residents a sense of freedom and independence within a secure setting.

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Palos Heights, IL for a Life Enrichment Coordinator. The Life Enrichment Coordinator will be responsible for planning and implementing recreational activities, organizing therapeutic recreation programs, and planning events that engage and benefit the residents. The role includes daily interaction with residents to support their well-being, coordinating with other staff for training, and ensuring a positive and stimulating environment.

• Strong Communication skills
• Experience in Recreation and Therapeutic Recreation
• Proficiency in Event Planning and Training
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Experience working with individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or related field

Plan and implement recreational activities and therapeutic recreation programs. Organize events and activities that engage residents. Interact with residents daily to support well-being. Coordinate with other staff for training and ensure a positive, stimulating environment.
