Under the general direction of the Administrative Director of Imaging Services, the Radiology Manager directs the operation of Diagnostic Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Computed Tomography, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine.
QualificationsMust be a graduate of an ARRT approved Radiological Technologist program, and must be Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Must have a current Illinois Emergency Agency Division of Nuclear Safety license. Must have a minimum of 5 years of Technologist experience.
A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
3 years supervisory experience in a Radiology department, preferably a hospital-based department preferred.
This position requires independent judgment and ability to handle multiple priorities; must be able to maintain a positive image of the hospital and work effectively with other departments, doctors, patients, and patient's relatives, sometimes in difficult situations; may be subject to on call status.
