Duties

Teaching duties will consist of instruction in all facets of heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration. This position requires a strong commitment to student-centered success in the HVACR industry. Duties include various faculty responsibilities; it is preferred that the role will serve as program coordinator.

Education / Experience

Associates degree, or “journeyman status” in a HAC related union (HAC pipe fitters, HAC sheet metal work, HAC controls technicians, and HAC building engineers) with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience, OR equivalent training and experience in a non-union environment with a minimum of five (5) years of experience required.

Qualifications

• 2,000 hours of relevant HVAC work experience required.
• The ideal candidate will maintain the highest standards for classroom instruction, apply innovative teaching methods, and demonstrate ability to work with students at all skill levels.
• Teaching duties will consist of preparing, instructing, and evaluating courses; seeking continuous improvement in teaching methodology and student-centered learning.

Position Status / Hours

Full Time. Hours to be determined.

Salary / Wage

$58,623-$71,670 (Base Load is 15 ECH). Salaried.
