Automotive Technician

Parkway Ford in Pampa, Texas is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. As a member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and battery replacements
• Identify and diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment
• Repair and replace parts as needed
• Adhere to dealership and manufacturer standards and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle repairs
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician (certifications preferred)
• Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and technology
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Willingness to work weekends if needed
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
