Integrated Construction Manager

Summary

Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Integrated Construction Manager to join our Data Center Group to implement and oversee Virtual Design and Construction processes throughout project phases. Strong communication skills are required to interact with staff at all levels in an ever‑changing environment. The role demands flexibility, inventiveness, dedication, efficiency, integrity, and confidentiality. You will facilitate and manage project collaboration and integrated delivery activities for construction teams.

• Plan, implement, and oversee VDC processes through appropriate technology platforms.
• Provide supervision and oversight of the integrated construction team.
• Contribute to the improvement of the group’s ability to capture and deploy lessons learned and best practices; help develop and refine the VDC Playbook.
• Coordinate with project leadership, design team members, and preconstruction services (estimating, scheduling, project planning, constructability, site utilization, etc.).
• Oversee the production and management of 3D and 4D models.
• Establish the scope of work, schedule, and deliverables for integrated delivery services.
• Manage construction coordination and communicate model‑generated information to the project team.
• Capture, manage, and communicate reality capture data and status visualizations.
• Implement 3D technology during construction.
• Participate in research and development of new technologies.
• Lead or contribute to internal training initiatives.
• Develop, modify, or update project BIM, supporting self‑performed scopes and filling modeling gaps for 3D coordination.
• Attend, participate, and present at external and internal BIM/VDC conferences and meetings.
• Manage others and may lead to leadership in other areas and settings within the group and the broader Mortenson IDAT community.
• Provide support to the group and program beyond current geographic location.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Eight or more years of progressively challenging construction management experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Current driver’s license.
• Experience managing and leading a dynamic team.
• Professional licensure preferred.
• High competency with advanced software (2D, 3D, and 4D).
• Proficiency with Autodesk Building Design Systems (Revit, Civil3D, 3
  
  Ds Max, Navisworks).
• Experience with Revizto, Synchro, Enscape, ArcGIS, and Drone Deploy.
• Rendering and animation experience is a plus.
• Part 107 license is a plus; must be obtained early if not yet held to support reality capture requirements.

The base pay range for this role is $107,200 MIN – $160,800 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors, including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
