Electrical Engineer

* Job Description and Responsibilities:
* Design and develop electrical control systems for oil and gas downhole tools and surface control systems.
* Design magnetic devices (transformers, inductors) for downhole applications.
* PCB/PCA layout using Altium.
* Prepare technical reports and documentation.
* Collaborate with other disciplines for oil and gas systems integration.
* Work on troubleshooting production test equipment.
* Support manufacturing production lines with tool performance and testing.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
* Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting/repair of electrical equipment.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
* Education and Training:
* Minimum Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
* Minimum of 5 years of industry experience preferred.
* Experience with electrical design (analog and digital circuits) and control systems.
* Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* General Requirements / Technical Requirements &

Skills:

* Electrical Systems design.
* Experience with embedded firmware (using C and assembly) for Microchip product suite.
* Experience with hardware simulation tools (power and signal integrity, electromagnetics, thermal management, etc).
* Experience with Matlab and Lab View.
* Altium or similar PCB design experience.
* Ability to apply basic soldering (SMT and thru-hole).
* Version Control using Git Hub.
