Summary
Mortenson is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Project Manager II to lead MEP work on large data center projects. The role includes managing project quality, timeliness, safety, mentoring the project team, and cultivating client relationships in a dynamic environment. Candidates can apply for level 1 or 2 based on experience.

- Supervise the overall financial health of data center projects
- Develop and maintain project financial and equipment projections
- Allocate project estimates into the financial system
- Manage cost codes, approve invoices, and oversee budgets
- Provide financials and billings to Accounting for timely payment
- Create monthly owner billings
- Handle subcontractor and supplier relationships
- Oversee budget and select trade partners and suppliers
- Manage billing and contract administration, including buyouts
- Supervise the 3‑D coordination process to resolve conflicts prior to installation
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent field experience
- Minimum ten years of construction management experience, preferably with a mechanical or electrical contractor
- Minimum five years of experience building data centers
- Demonstrated ability to fulfill development-to-closeout responsibilities for complex projects
- Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and run multiple project tasks
- Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management, and web applications
- Positive and professional attitude with strong customer service skills
- Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies
- Current driver’s license

Base pay ranges for this role are $144,300‑$216,500 for level 1 and $158,900‑$238,400 for level
2. Compensation is determined based on experience, location, and internal equity. The position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
