Responsible for completing financial transactions, as well as educating and referring customers to the Bank's products and services.
Education/ExperienceA minimum of the following education/experience is required:
- A High School Diploma/GED; equivalent experience: 1 year of experience is equal to 1 year of education.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in banking and/or cash handling related field is required.
- Accepts deposits, verifies cash, cashes checks.
- Processes cash withdrawals, collection items, cash advances, transfer of funds requests, and stop payment orders.
- Accepts payments for loans.
- Balances and services ATM as needed.
- Completes Currency Transaction Reports.
- Balances coin machine.
- Orders cash and currency.
- Process customer check orders.
- Redeems savings bonds.
- Promotes the bank's products and services; consistently cross‑sell bank products at every opportunity.
- Balances drawer daily.
- May be responsible for bank opening/closing.
- Answers customer questions and attempts to resolve customer problems.
- Follows teller policy.
- Promote and maintain positive relations with all contacts, customers and potential customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
