OverviewWe are seeking a Medical Surgical Telemetry RN, internally referred to as our Med/Tele RN, working in both the Med-Surg and Telemetry departments. A dedicated nurse specializing in attending to patients within Med/Surg units, especially those needing cardiac monitoring. Our RN is instrumental in overseeing the safety, comfort, and overall well-being of individuals needing cardiac surveillance during their hospitalization.

- Assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall health status, to create individualized care plans
- Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment, which allows for remote monitoring of patients' heart rates and rhythms
- Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, including intravenous medications, and monitor patients for any adverse reactions
- Provide hands‑on care to patients, including wound care, administering treatments, assisting with activities of daily living, and providing emotional support
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
- Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Ventilator management experience preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
