Job Title
This position is responsible for providing specialized administrative support for the fire inspection division.
Examples Of DutiesThis includes providing administrative support to the Captain of the Fire Inspection's Division as needed, serving as a receptionist for the front counter, maintaining records of citations and associated fees, filing and retrieving information, accepting applications for short-term rental and beachside fire permits, scheduling inspections, reconciling division invoices and coding of payments, researching, compiling, organizing, and analyzing data, interacting with other departments/divisions, assisting with reconciling monthly purchase card statements, reviewing special event applications, maintaining the Fire Inspection Division's calendar, ordering office supplies, notarizing documents, and performing other duties as assigned.
TypicalQualifications
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, one year of administrative support experience, a Notary Public for the State of Florida or ability to obtain within six months of employment, and equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
