Position: RC Hospitality Solutions - Beach Service Attendant

This position is the face of the resort. The staff that works in this department is responsible for creating lifelong memories for our guests. Attendants are to ensure that the beach area including chairs, umbrellas, and retail items are set‑up, clean, and in working order prior to opening and throughout the day and to ensure guest satisfaction.

Essential Functions
  • Constant walk‑through of beach area to make certain it is clean (no trash in the sand or water) and tidy, including emptying trash receptacles. Ensure all beach chairs are in their proper place.
  • Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times, greet our guests and owners and explain services and prices in a professional manner while maintaining an excellent standard of customer service.
  • Handle transactions with customers as they rent equipment or other items and services; manage cash and charges, keep track of sales, balance cash and receipts at the end of shift, and make a bank deposit.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the beach chairs, umbrellas and equipment.
  • Move and store equipment during inclement weather and at the end of the season.
  • Create a safe environment for both staff and guests to operate.
  • CPR Certification is required;
    Lifeguard Certification is preferred.
Physical Demands
  • Most work tasks are performed outdoors and vary due to weather conditions.
  • Position requires walking; must be able to stand and exert well‑paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
  • Must be able to exert well‑paced ability to reach different outlets and other departments of the resort on a timely basis.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning and stocking tasks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis and up to 100 lbs. on an occasional basis.
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
Pay

Pay is $15.00 per hour plus commission and gratuity.
