Project Manager, Public Works/Linear Infrastructure - Tallahassee, FL or Panama City Beach, FL

Halff has an opening for a Public Works/Linear Infrastructure Project Manager with their Florida PE License, to lead our Public Works team based out of either Tallahassee, FL or Panama City Beach, FL offices.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in municipal linear infrastructure—including roadway, trail, multi‑use path, or sidewalk design—and 1 year of project‑management experience. This position requires strong design experience and awareness of project‑management skills.

• Manage and oversee the design and construction of municipal and water/wastewater utility design projects.
• Conduct and manage design and plan production.
• Manage clients and supervise technical staff.
• Provide training and mentorship to other engineers.
• Assist in the marketing and proposal process to acquire new projects/clients.

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or an ABET‑accredited equivalent Engineering degree.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License in Florida, or ability to acquire one within 6 months of hire.
• At least 4 years of linear infrastructure design experience, including a minimum of 1 year of project‑management experience.
• Experience in North Florida.
• Strong technical knowledge in linear infrastructure design.
• Ability to manage projects and mentor staff.
• Experience managing design and plan production.
• Ability to manage clients and supervise technical staff.
