Project Manager, Utilities – Tallahassee, FL or Panama , FL

Halff has an opening for a Utilities or Water/Wastewater Project Manager with a Florida PE License. The role will serve our Public Works team based in either Tallahassee, FL or Panama City Beach, FL.

Ideal candidate has at least 4 years of municipal water/wastewater utility design experience, with 1 year of project management experience. Strong design experience and project manager skills are required.

• Responsible for managing and overseeing the design and construction of municipal or private Utility projects that may include water, wastewater, or storm sewer design.
• Conduct and manage design and plan production.
• Manage clients and supervise technical staff.
• Provide training/mentorship of other engineers.
• Assist in the marketing and proposal process to acquire new projects/clients.

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License in Florida, or ability to acquire one within 6 months of hire date.
• At least 4 to 6 years of experience (minimum 1 year of Project Management experience).
• Experience in Florida.
• Strong technical knowledge in municipal and utilities or water/wastewater design.
• Ability to manage projects and mentor staff.
• Experience managing design and plan production.
• Ability to manage clients and supervise technical staff.
