Description

A growing, $100M+ manufacturing and distribution company is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to join its executive leadership team. The organization operates across manufacturing, distribution, and food-related product lines, including orchard-based (pecan) products, and is entering its next phase of strategic growth. The CFO will serve as a key strategic partner to the executive team, providing financial leadership, operational insight, and disciplined financial planning to support continued growth and expansion.

This role oversees all financial functions while helping shape long-term strategy across manufacturing, distribution, and international operations.

Key Responsibilities

+ Lead all financial strategy, planning, and analysis activities

+ Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and reporting

+ Provide strategic guidance on operational efficiency, cost controls, and margin improvement

+ Partner with executive leadership on growth initiatives, capital planning, and long-term strategy

+ Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team

+ Support manufacturing and distribution operations with strong cost accounting and operational finance insight

+ Interface with external partners including auditors, banks, and advisors

+ Contribute to international business oversight and cross-border financial considerations, where applicable

Requirements

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CFO or in a comparable senior financial leadership role

+ Proven experience within manufacturing and/or distribution environments

+ Strong executive leadership, communication, and team-building skills

+ MBA and/or CPA highly preferred

+ International business exposure strongly preferred

+

Experience with in food products, agriculture, or related industries preferred

+ Hands-on, strategic mindset with the ability to operate at both executive and operational levels
