Position Title: Tier III Systems Administrator

Location: Panama City Beach, FL

Clearance: Active Secret

Position Overview

ISPA Technology is seeking a Tier III Systems Administrator to support and maintain enterprise infrastructure environments supporting mission and business operations. This senior-level role is responsible for administering servers, operating systems, virtualization platforms, end-user computing environments, user access, patching, monitoring, backup and recovery solutions, and automation activities across both on-premises and hybrid environments.

The ideal candidate is a proactive technical professional capable of serving as a Tier III escalation resource, resolving complex infrastructure issues, maintaining stable and secure systems, and improving operational efficiency through scripting and automation. This position works closely with cybersecurity, networking, engineering, and support teams to ensure systems remain reliable, compliant, and operationally ready.

Position Summary
  • Provide Tier III support for complex system, infrastructure, and virtualization issues.
  • Administer and maintain Windows Server, Windows 11, and Linux environments.
  • Manage and support VMware vSphere and VMware Horizon View (VDI) environments.
  • Perform routine system maintenance, patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation activities.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security using enterprise monitoring and logging tools including Splunk.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, application, virtualization, and infrastructure-related issues.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and access controls.
  • Support enterprise backup, recovery, and disaster recovery operations.
  • Develop and maintain automation workflows using Ansible for system configuration, patching, deployment, and operational tasks.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and system inventories.
  • Support cybersecurity compliance initiatives, system hardening, STIG implementation, and audit remediation efforts.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and application teams to support operational requirements and system improvements.
  • Serve as an escalation point for Tier I and Tier II support personnel.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience administering enterprise Windows Server, Windows 11, and/or Linux systems.
  • Experience supporting VMware vSphere and/or VMware Horizon View environments.
  • Experience using Splunk or similar enterprise monitoring and log management platforms.
  • Experience supporting backup, recovery, and disaster recovery operations.
  • Experience using Ansible for automation, configuration management, or deployment tasks.
  • Strong troubleshooting and system maintenance skills in enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies, patch management, and system monitoring tools.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, system hardening, STIG compliance, and access management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and support operational environments with minimal supervision.
  • Experience serving as a Tier III escalation resource.
