As an unarmed patrol officer at a premier hotel and resort location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: Day Time – Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM;
Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel and resort setting.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, guest amenity areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directions and guest inquiries, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
- Support hotel operations during busy periods, special events, and/or after-hours activity by observing surroundings, reporting concerns, and following post orders and client instructions.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
