Job Overview
As a Security professional, you are among some of the most valued associates at our properties. Your presence and knowledge reassure residents and guests that the safety and security of the property is being properly cared for by a dedicated and detail-oriented associate.
Your Responsibilities- Monitoring and operating electric and manual security control systems and emergency response systems.
- Accurately maintaining daily logs, records, and forms.
- Responding to emergency situations in a timely manner.
- Following safety procedures and striving to maintain a safe work environment.
- Patrolling, walking the property, and guarding the gatehouse.
- Reporting all property violations.
- Critical thinking, problem solving, judgment and decision‑making abilities are necessary.
- Ability to maintain positivity and diplomacy in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact and communicate successfully with residents and the team.
- Possession and maintenance of a Class D Security license.
- Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work in various positions, including stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods; climbing stairs and navigating the property/building quickly and easily as required.
- Ability to work extended and flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
- Ability to repeat various motions with the wrists, hands, and fingers.
Days and times vary based on the needs of the property.
What We OfferAs a full‑time non‑exempt associate, you will be eligible for comprehensive benefits including multiple medical plans, dental, and vision. You will also be eligible for paid time off, paid holidays, and a 401(k) with company match. Occasional travel may be required for training and other company functions.
Compensation$17.00 per hour.
