Security Officer Part Time Patrol

As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol in Panama City Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 4:30 PM – 12:30 AM
• Sat 4:30 PM – 12:30 AM

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, access control activities, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, offices, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter points, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, or maintenance concerns according to post orders.
• Support daily operations by providing directions and assistance, helping to de‑escalate tense situations, and completing required reports, logs, and incident documentation in a timely manner.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
