Field Installation Lead

The Field Installation Lead will plan and lead all installation team activities in support of the U.S. Navy’s Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) program on-base.

• Conduct, lead and plan alteration installation team activities
• In charge of field installation, in briefs/out briefs, deficiency correction, ACU/NBU coordination and deployed execution
• Leads AIT planning/execution and coordinates field modifications
• Testing, documentation, and government/customer interfaces
• Perform routine work with limited to no supervision or instruction
• Ability to take on new assignments with general instructions
• Apply industry knowledge to various programs and projects ensuring successful completion
• Use knowledge of industry standard policies, procedures and practical applications to complete job tasks
• Other duties as related to the business functions of FWG Solutions, as assigned

• High School Degree Required
• Technical school or Navy maintenance training or equivalent required

• Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain an interim clearance required
• Safety training required
• ENAVSEA TS familiarity

• Eight to ten (8-10) years of experience in similar position
• AIT experience required

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to hold yourself and others accountable on short-term and long-term goals
• Ability to install, assemble, and configure new mechanical or refrigeration systems
• Ability to troubleshoot using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and fix issues
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with general maintenance staff
• Ability to work with various levels of personnel
• Use of Microsoft Office software applications to include Word, Excel, and Power Point

• Ability to work onsite 5 days per week with additional hours, as required
• Travel-ready as required
