$16.50 to $22.00 hourly DOE
The function of the Sprinkler/Fire Alarm System Inspector Level 1 is to aid in the inspection, testing, and maintenance of all water-based fire protection system types.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Timely and efficient performance of inspection, testing, and maintenance of water-based systems with direct supervision.
- Load and handle materials and equipment.
- Wash and maintain vehicles.
- Assist with coordinating monitoring companies, fire department, and other authorities to avoid false alarms and unreported true alarms.
- Assist with requisitioning materials and equipment.
- Assist with servicing systems per manufacturer’s maintenance manuals, the law, and the adopted Standards of the National Fire Protection Association.
- Assist with completing paperwork as directed.
- Assist with the preparation of proposals.
- All other duties as assigned.
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to be insured on company automobile insurance.
- Acceptable background check and drug screen.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Basic arithmetic.
- Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner.
- Basic computer and software skills.
- The ability to communicate in English.
