$16.50 to $22.00 hourly DOE

The function of the Sprinkler/Fire Alarm System Inspector Level 1 is to aid in the inspection, testing, and maintenance of all water-based fire protection system types.

• Timely and efficient performance of inspection, testing, and maintenance of water-based systems with direct supervision.
• Load and handle materials and equipment.
• Wash and maintain vehicles.
• Assist with coordinating monitoring companies, fire department, and other authorities to avoid false alarms and unreported true alarms.
• Assist with requisitioning materials and equipment.
• Assist with servicing systems per manufacturer’s maintenance manuals, the law, and the adopted Standards of the National Fire Protection Association.
• Assist with completing paperwork as directed.
• Assist with the preparation of proposals.
• All other duties as assigned.

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to be insured on company automobile insurance.
• Acceptable background check and drug screen.

• Basic arithmetic.
• Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner.
• Basic computer and software skills.
• The ability to communicate in English.
