Part-time Administrative Office Assistant (eventual full-time potential)

Located on the beautiful shores of St. Andrews Bay, St. Andrews Bay Yacht Club is a member‑focused private club with a proud history of hospitality and community. We are dedicated to providing exceptional service and maintaining the welcoming spirit that defines our Club.

Position Summary

The Administrative Office Assistant plays a key role in the daily operations of the Club. This position supports membership communications, assists with administrative tasks, and serves as a friendly and professional point of contact for our members.

You will collaborate closely with the Club Secretary and management team in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment, reporting to the General Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to membership inquiries and general questions from members and guests (in person, by phone, and via email).
  • Prepare and distribute communications, newsletters, and announcements to the membership.
  • Assist with membership applications, renewals, and records management.
  • Provide administrative support to the Club Secretary and General Manager.
  • Maintain organized files and a professional office environment.
  • Assist with club meetings, events, and occasional weekend or holiday functions.
Qualifications
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a hospitality‑focused attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, Teams).
  • Excellent organization and mindfulness.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a small team setting.
  • Prior experience in a private club, hospitality, or administrative role preferred.
Schedule & Compensation
  • Monday – Friday, with some Saturdays and holidays as needed.
  • Competitive hourly rate, based on experience.
