CAC Support For VRC (General Clerk)
Old Harbor Solutions, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a CAC Support for VRC (General Clerk) to join our team in Panama City. Key responsibilities include providing services to all personnel assigned to host and tenant commands, other military service personnel, retirees and their dependents, and verified contractors. Processing Common Access Cards (CACs) in accordance with applicable regulations and instructions.
Serving as a verifying official on Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS)/Real-Time Automated Personnel Identification Systems (RAPIDS) terminal and validating inputted data for accuracy and correctness. Answering telephone inquiries and assisting customers with questions concerning identification card eligibility, application requirements, and associated DEERS inquiries. Returning failed or retrieved CACs to the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) in a timely manner.
Verifying and updating customer personnel data in accordance with DoD, OPNAV, Bureau of Naval Personnel (BUPERS), and other references, instructions, directives and policy. Providing support in resetting Personal Identification Numbers (PINs), verifying and updating Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificates, etc. Updating DEERS information in accordance with IAW the RAPIDS User Guide, BUPERS INST 1750.10E, and DoDI 1000.13. Initiating CAC requests and distributing CACs and PINs in accordance with the RAPIDS User Guide.
Verifying the identity and eligibility of authorized DoD beneficiaries, issuing DoD Identification Cards and performing DEERS updates in accordance with DoD regulations and instructions.
Desired qualifications include proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint. Working knowledge of grammar, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and military terminology commonly used within office settings. Working knowledge of standard office equipment such as computers, copiers, fax machines, scanners and other office automation systems. Additional requirements include obtaining and maintaining all required DOD online training and appropriate certifications for operating DEERS/RAPIDS Systems.
A minimum of one year experience in a customer service environment. HR background in a minimum of one of the following disciplines:
Military Pay, Military Personnel, Travel Claims, or Navy Transportation. Substitutions for HR background can be from similar experience gained in either the private sector or other Federal Agencies. Ability to obtain and maintain qualifications to access and manage information up to and including the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) level.
