Mathematics and Statistics Instructor

The start date will be Spring (January) 2027. Transcripts MUST be uploaded to move forward.

The primary function of this position is to instruct college-level and pre-college level mathematics and statistics courses as well as advising students.

Teach mathematics courses as assigned (15) hours weekly Maintain office hours (10) hours weekly Serve as an academic advisor to students Stay current with today's technology:
Ability to use current version of Office Current Learning Management System (Canvas) Ability to use smart stations Ability to use live streaming technology Graphing Utilities Ability to use Lighthouse/Banner/Canvas Registration in office Student Advising Class rosters Research student placement history Student schedules Post grades within the specified time frame My Math Lab  Serve as Course Manager

OTHER DUTIES:

Requires a Master of Science Degree with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics or Statistics from an institutional accredited university.

Faculty members work in classrooms, offices, and other related venues to accomplish educational activities. Faculty operate personal computer and audio visuals needed in a classroom setting, and maintain ability to communicate with faculty and students via email and other electronic methods for performing the day to day tasks needed for communication. The ability to travel locally and out of town on college related business and training may be required.
