Discover this great opportunity working onsite NSWC PCD within Panama City, Florida specifically within an Unmanned Vehicles Laboratory. This laboratory serves as the material, maintenance, and logistics support commodity manager for unmanned systems.

As the Unmanned Systems Electrical Engineer, you will be on a dynamic team, performing engineering and technical services to develop unmanned systems and support Test and Evaluation (T&E) and Operational events in a maritime environment.

This position is contingent upon the availability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance In this role, you will:
* Design, develop, and test all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and machinery.
* May use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform assignments.
* Apply principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals.
* Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
* Perform analysis, design, development, evaluation, planning, testing and operation in support of higher-level engineers in the development of system and technical products. Typically employs pre-established guidelines and instructions, and limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish task objectives.
* Collect information and data, performance of various tests, and engineering computations, measurements and analyses. Exhibits the ability to independently perform basic data validation and troubleshooting.
* Provide technical guidance and oversight and may act as a technical lead for limited aspects of a project.
* Have daily independent interaction with customers and provides input to project managers on programmatic and technical deliverables under guidance of more senior technical personnel.
* Provide input and support to intra-organizational proposal development efforts.

May have some exposure to and provide some input to inter-organizational technical and business development activities.
* Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by lead engineers and Government counterparts. To be successful in this role, you will have:
* The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
* A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or a related discipline.
* 2 years of relevant work experience.
* Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, methods, and techniques to include an understanding in Micro-Electronics, Circuit Boards, and fabrication methods.
* Knowledge of relevant tools, equipment, hardware, and software.
* Effective organization level communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
