Operations Manager, Systems Engineer
Opportunity
Provide senior leadership within Booz Allen’s Navy Marine Corps team to assess, develop, and implement solutions in engineering, prototyping, manufacturing, and business and military operations. Support Navy and Marine Corps clients. Drive business development and lead technical solutioning for research and development, engineering, integration, and deployment opportunities. Develop, socialize, and execute a robust business strategy that leads to the growth of the client’s business and act as the primary client contact.
Engage and work closely with market team peers and external clients to develop a pipeline, drive new business growth, and lead proposal and business development activities. Consistently challenge and improve the baseline business and conceptualize and propose new capability ideas for future growth based on client needs. Develop and maintain local relationships throughout the industry and government. Propose novel technical solutions.
Oversee all phases of contract execution and maintain responsibility for hiring, risk management, and successful technical performance. This position is located in Panama City, FL.
- 10+ years of experience with technical or engineering work in the undersea maritime domain
- 5+ years of experience leading capture activities for government acquisitions
- 5+ years of experience in program management roles, including leading technically varied teams to successful deliveries on complex programs
- 5+ years of experience developing and executing business strategies to achieve successful, quality growth
- Experience with client and industry relationships across the U.S. Navy
- Knowledge of DoD government contracts, acquisition, and proposal processes
- Ability to build and leverage relationships in the company and with the federal government and industry
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology or Engineering
- Experience with Navy Warfare Center missions
- Experience with Marine Corps missions
- Experience with NSWC Panama City missions
- Top Secret clearance
