Cost Engineer

BB&E is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Cost Engineer to join our team, providing engineer support for Air Force life-cycle cost engineering requirements/projects at the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC), Operations Directorate (AFCEC/CO) at Tyndall, AFB in Panama City, FL. Scope of work includes providing professional reviews, assessments, and offering expert opinions regarding cost estimate and cost engineering work to support AF base/installations.

This position can be filled with qualified individuals who can telework who have the appropriate technical background requirements (KSAs shown below) and experience.

Job duties and responsibilities include:

• Providing technical reviews and assistance during the development, update and/or revisions of cost estimates, cost engineering and cost risk analysis work, models, studies and reports that use specialized software for determining project results/findings
• Assisting in documenting program files, organizing files, and providing administrative support
• Estimated tasks include providing professional reviews, assessments, updates and/or revisions of 70-80 cost estimates annually; performing consolidation of information from multiple studies for the development of 15-20 status reports annually; accomplishing 10-15 briefings annually
• Assisting with preparation of training of 15-20 cost estimate training plans and courses
• Conducting one (1) to three (3) site visits annually; consolidating, documenting, and tracking 80-120 requests in CE DASH annually
