Prepare electro-mechanical technical drawings and documentation. Develop detailed design specifications for products and structures and specify dimensions, materials, and procedures. Communicate and collaborate with internal and external as well as technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels to ensure the quality and accuracy of drawings, models, and other written deliverables. Understand role and apply knowledge of program and project requirements, policies , and procedures.

Perform easy to moderately difficult support tasks. Work independently with some supervision and follow general instruction.

• Experience with mechanical 3D modeling and 2D computer-aided drafting ( CAD )
• Knowledge of dimensioning and tolerancing for 2D drawing development
• Knowledge of 3D modeling techniques and best practices
• Ability to support SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD
• Ability to develop technical documentation, including 2D technical drawings, bills of material, and asso cia ted written technical documentation
• Ability to collaborate with an integrated product team, including a variety of technical and non-technical teammates
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

• Experience with hardware design, development, model-based definition, prototyping, and integration of electromechanical prototype or military systems
• Experience with 3d modeling programs such as CREO, Solid Edge, or Inventor
• Experience performing peer reviews or drawing checking, Configuration Management, or SOLIDWORKS PDM
• Knowledge of fabrication, assembly, and modern manufacturing technologies such as additive manufacturing techniques, including 3D printing, and subtractive manufacturing techniques, including CNC
• Knowledge of ASME Y14 standards
• SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, or ASME GD & T Certification
• Completion of Institutional Learning Certificate in Drafting or Engineering practices

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
