Base pay range

$23.00/hr – $29.00/hr

Responsibilities
  • Conduct team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations.
  • Supervise and coach employees, giving oral and written feedback regularly as required.
  • Timely complete and approve sales tickets, timesheets and time off requests.
  • Perform corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures for personnel at the worksite, including training, job requirements, reporting, and follow‑through.
  • Supervise personnel and equipment for successful completion of each required job:
    • Lead employees effectively.
    • Assume responsibility for safe operation of all required equipment.
    • Complete all tickets and paperwork efficiently and accurately, as needed, daily.
  • Perform the following tasks safely and efficiently:
    • Wet and dry vacuum truck operation & functions.
    • Hydroblaster operations, including lance/shotgun operation.
    • Hydraulic pump operations.
    • Jetter truck operations.
    • Load and unload equipment, tools, and supplies.
    • Assist technicians and operators with manual tasks.
    • Maintain and care for vehicles, trucks, and equipment.
  • Ensure accurate completion of all required DOT paperwork and daily work tickets.
  • Report potential issues or concerns to the Branch Manager.
  • Perform safety procedures including JSA’s, lockout/tagout, confined space entry, housekeeping, and company‑specific procedures.
  • Repair equipment on the job if needed.
  • Lead small groups of personnel on specific qualified jobs.
  • Ensure that tasks are performed safely with the highest level of quality and integrity.
  • Arrive at office or job site on time and ready to work.
  • Adhere to company policies.
  • Wear and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) – including respirators, skin, face, hand, and foot protection.
  • Work when scheduled and comply with the company attendance policy.
  • Attend all safety and health training, as required.
  • Travel is required, sometimes for long periods, to perform this work.
  • Assist in other company areas as needed, including but not limited to shop, parts, inventory, and municipal.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Complete all pre and post‑training, including safety, new hire, and regulatory.
  • Complete all required safety‑related training, including TWIC, 10‑Hour OSHA, Confined Space, Hazardous Materials Emergency Response, Breathing Air Equipment Training and Fit Test, Aerial Lift Training, Lock Out Tag Out, Heat Stress, MSHA, Defensive Driving, Hazard Communications, and H2S.
  • Two years verifiable industrial hydroblasting and vacuum truck operation experience; mechanical aptitude helpful.
  • A minimum of two years prior supervisory experience (preferred).
  • Pass a drug test, background and motor vehicle check.
  • Valid State‑issued Commercial Driver’s License with Tanker Endorsement/Class A or B, and DOT Health Card required.
  • Must enter confined spaces (close quarters, crawl spaces, manholes).
  • Possess a safety‑first, positive attitude; work as a team.
  • Demonstrate ability to operate and maintain all company equipment and accessories.
  • Apply knowledge to formulate positive solutions to problem situations.
  • Read, write and communicate in English effectively.
  • Work well under pressure and manage priorities.
  • Show organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Adaptable to change with short notice.
  • Train and lead others.
  • Address customer needs and present solutions promptly and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, crew, and division personnel; negotiate with members of all backgrounds and personalities.
  • Be self‑sufficient, independent, and resourceful.
