Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc. is seeking a ship fitter to support steel construction and repairs on marine vessels. Under supervision, you will lay out parts, bulkheads, and frames; loft parts from offsets; and tack weld components to fixed positions.
You will be required to read blueprints, use hand and power tools, cut and burn with a torch, and perform MIG/7018 welding of stainless and aluminum. Knowledge of ship terminology and OSHA safety rules is essential.
