Borusan Berg Pipe is the leading manufacturer of large-diameter steel line pipe in North America. We are a mid-sized manufacturer with two U.S. locations specializing in pipe production for the oil and gas sector. We are seeking a full-time SAFETY TECHNICIAN for our PANAMA CITY location.

- Conducts safety inspections and audits of facilities, work areas, and equipment.
- Reports results of safety inspections and audits to Safety Manager.
- Monitors work practices and procedures for compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems.
- Facilitates productive discussions among employees and management relative to safe workplace practices.
- Serves as a source of information on health and safety rules and regulations.
- Requests and collects employee feedback and suggestions on safety procedures.
- Distribute and post health and safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned incidental to health and safety activities.
- Rotating evening or weekend shift work may be required, based on operational need.
- Familiar with safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards .
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
