About the Role
We are hiring experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurses to join a high-performing Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). This fast-paced environment requires strong critical thinking and the ability to care for patients recovering from acute illnesses, post-surgical procedures, and complex medical conditions. You’ll work closely with providers and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, patient-centered care.
Available Shifts
Key Responsibilities
Assess, monitor, and treat patients requiring intermediate-level care
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Administer medications and perform unit-specific procedures
Provide post-operative and post-acute nursing care
Communicate and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain compliance with regulatory, safety, and hospital standards
Qualifications1+ years of recent acute care PCU experience (within the past year)
Will consider candidates with:
Recent acute ER RN experience OR
3+ years of acute Med-Surg RN experience
ADN or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
Active FL or multistate compact RN license
BLS required within 30 days of hire
ACLS required within 60 days of hire
