Job Description About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and skilled Med-Surg RNs to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit. You’ll assess and coordinate care for adult patients, collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and play a key role in supporting positive patient outcomes within a supportive, team-focused environment.

This position is ideal for acute care RNs looking to join a reputable, high-performing hospital known for strong leadership and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care using evidence-based practice.

Assess, monitor, and document patient status and interventions.

Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and care coordinators to deliver effective care plans.

Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and medications.

Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and intervene as needed.

Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic patient environment.

Qualifications

Required:

Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license (must obtain FL license).

1+ year of recent acute care RN experience (Med-Surg not required).

ASN required.

BLS (AHA) required.

Candidates with 3+ years of RN experience may qualify if they have acute care experience within the past 5 years.

BSN preferred.
