We are seeking a Post-Partum RN to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to provide direct patient care to post-partum patients in a family centered approach. You will provide multidisciplinary obstetrical care to low and high risk postpartum patients and normal newborns. The RN monitors patient progress and prepares patient for discharge.
Responsibilities- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation
- Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
- Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment
- Educate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay
- Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
- BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start
- 1 year of RN experience in an acute care environment preferred
- BSN is preferred
- Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
