Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking a skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our well‑established neonatology team at HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital in beautiful Panama City, Florida—a coastal community known for its turquoise waters, relaxed lifestyle, and family‑friendly environment.

Position Highlights
  • Level III NICU (28 beds) with an average daily census of 19 and ~2,700 deliveries per year.
  • In‑house NNP model providing 24/7 coverage with strong physician support.
  • Flexible scheduling: 24‑hour shifts designed to promote work‑life balance.
  • Shared responsibilities including rounding, acute NICU care, delivery attendance, and procedures based on experience.
  • Collaborative, team‑oriented environment with neonatologists who value NNP autonomy and clinical judgment.
  • Full subspecialty support plus a dedicated neonatal transport team.

Responsibilities and Work Hours

Provide 24/7 coverage for the Level III NICU, rounding on patients, delivering acute NICU care, attending deliveries, and performing procedures as required by experience. Work flexible 24‑hour shifts designed to promote work‑life balance.

Qualifications
  • Current APRN national specialty certification as an NNP.
  • Minimum of a master’s degree.
