OpportunityNurse Practitioner - Neonatology
Job Details- Provide advanced neonatal care within a 28-bed Level III NICU environment
- Participate in an in-house NNP model delivering 24/7 coverage with physician support
- Manage an average daily NICU census of approximately 19 patients
- Support approximately 2,700 annual deliveries
- Perform daily neonatal rounding and comprehensive patient management
- Deliver acute NICU care for critically ill neonates
- Attend high‑risk deliveries and neonatal resuscitations
- Perform neonatal procedures based on clinical competency and experience
- Collaborate closely with neonatologists and multidisciplinary NICU staff
- Exercise strong clinical judgment and autonomous NNP decision‑making
- Work alongside a dedicated neonatal transport team
- Utilize full pediatric and neonatal subspecialty support services
- Contribute to a collaborative, team‑oriented practice environment
- Potentially participate in educational opportunities with rotating medical students
- Deliver evidence‑based neonatal care focused on quality, safety, and patient outcomes
- Must maintain current APRN national specialty certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum Master's Degree in Nursing required
- Florida APRN License or eligibility to obtain required
- Neonatal/NICU clinical experience required
