Job Summary and Qualifications

As a LPN Free Standing ER Panama City, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn - whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. You'll help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing.

• Provide appropriate information to assist the Registered Nurse in the preparation and maintenance of an effective patient care plan.
• Reinforce instructions given to the patient by the physician and Registered Nurse and refer new needs for instruction to the Registered Nurse.
• May administer and prescribe medications to patients under the specific policies and procedures.
• Take and record the patients’ vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, weight, height and prescription.
• Take lab samples from patients including blood and urine samples.

• Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN / LVN)
• Vocational School Graduate
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• IV Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
