Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Full-Time)

Registered Nurse candidates for the Emergency Department will have the following job responsibilities:

• Triage, assess and treat patients of all ages
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
• Develop plans that prescribe strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously providing general nursing care and prioritizing needs continually
• Provide follow up care instructions to patients and make necessary referrals
• Coordinate functions with physicians and other departments of the hospital, while being patient focused and safety aware at all times

• 1+ years recent ER Acute Care (within the last year) RN experience; could consider ICU or PCU (strong background)
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida, multistate or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required
• Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
• BLS must be obtained prior to employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
