Nurse Practitioner; NP

Schedule:

Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Saturdays as needed.

Service Areas:
Panama City, FL and may float to other clinics as needed.

The purpose of the Clinical Nurse Practitioner is to provide oversight for infusions being administered in our ambulatory infusion centers.

• Graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program and hold an active Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in the state(s) of practice.
• Experience in a family physician setting; strong knowledge of chronic disease states as well as current and emerging therapies.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain upon hire.
• Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environments while under pressure in a calm manner.
• Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.

• Assist with managing adverse drug reactions (ADRs).
• Assist with policy, procedure, and protocol development as needed.
• Work as a team member with all members of PIS, working alongside nurses and other NPs/MDs.
• Perform nursing functions as needed.
• Oversee the infusions being administered in the AIC.
• Travel to other AICs when needed for staffing coverage.
• Maintain strong knowledge of all existing and developing infusion therapies.
