Emerald Coast Urgent Care is seeking a full-time Nurse to join our dedicated medical team in Panama City Beach, FL. We offer a competitive hourly wage of $25 – $32 and the possibility of working at any of our three clinic locations, including Miramar Beach and Inlet Beach.

WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?As a Nurse, you will begin each day by triaging patients and conducting in-house diagnostic tests such as Covid, Strep, Flu, Mono, and urinalysis. You will prepare patients for various procedures and assist providers with laceration repairs, abscess drainages, and wound care. Your responsibilities will include administering injections, starting IVs, and responding to emergencies in the clinic, following the provider's instructions until emergency responders arrive.
Additionally, you will communicate with patients regarding lab results from tests sent to external laboratories. This healthcare position requires adaptability and a steady approach to the diverse cases that present in an urgent care setting.

WHAT'SNEEDED FROM A NURSE?
Schedule: This healthcare position features a structured two-week rotating schedule for full-time staff
. In the first week, you will work Monday and Tuesday, be off on Wednesday and Thursday, and then work Friday through Sunday. In the second week, you will be off Monday and Tuesday, work Wednesday and Thursday, followed by a three-day weekend off. PRN opportunities are also available, with shifts varying based on clinic needs and ranging from a few shifts per month to several per week.
All shifts will be scheduled within regular business hours and will include weekend coverage as required.
- Florida Registered Nurse license OR Florida Paramedic License
- CPR certification
- 1+ year(s) of Emergency Department or Emergency Medical experience
- 2+ years of emergency experience (preferred)
- Experience working with Athena Net (preferred)
