• Under the direction of the RN/Provider, provide wound‑related patient care according to Basic Life Support (BLS) and approved hospital protocols and policies.
• Assist in vein clinic as assigned after completing Healogics Vein Clinic training; may assist with intake and discharge.
• Assist with case management under the direction of the RN, in accordance with state regulations.
• Gather patient information and necessary equipment and supplies for the RN or provider.
• Report quality of care issues to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Communicate with all team members regarding therapeutic interventions to ensure quality of care.
• Perform hyperbaric oxygen therapy related duties, as needed, after completing required Healogics hyperbaric training.
• May perform hyperbaric safety director duties after completing required Healogics hyperbaric safety director training.
• Function as a Documentation Assistant (scribe) in accordance with Healogics policy.
• Perform other duties as delegated.

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED).
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program/state‑approved educational program.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice, to be maintained throughout employment.
• Two (2) or more years’ experience as LPN/LVN, including at least one (1) year in a SNF or LTACH setting.
• Wound care experience preferred.

• Demonstrated competency in BLS (Basic Life Support).

• Basic knowledge of regulatory/accrediting requirements for healthcare organizations.

• Stationary position for extended periods (4+ hours).
• Viewing computer screen for extended periods (4+ hours).
• Frequent computer typing for 4+ hours.

• Color perception; close, distance, and peripheral vision.
• Lifting/moving items up to 20 pounds; lifting up to 75 pounds with equipment assistance.
• Pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching/grasping/touching with hands.

• Normal office environment; primarily indoors.

• Exposure to hazards (blood‑borne pathogens, toxic chemicals, flammable explosive gases, etc.).
• Exposure to mechanical equipment and proximity to moving objects.

The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $20.71 and $27.28 per hour, depending on education, experience, geography, and operational needs.
