- Shift: 24-hour in-house coverage shifts (flexible scheduling)
- Hours/Week: 40 hours/week

- License/Certs: Valid Nurse Practitioner license, Neonatal Pediatric Certification (preferred)
- Experience: Previous NICU or neonatal care experience required; new grads not accepted

- Provide expert neonatal care within a 28-bed Level III NICU environment
- Perform daily neonatal rounds and manage approximately 19 patients per day
- Support around 2,700 annual deliveries with high-risk neonatal support
- Attend high-risk deliveries and lead neonatal resuscitations
- Perform neonatal procedures as trained and clinically competent
- Collaborate with neonatologists and multidisciplinary NICU staff
- Exercise autonomous clinical judgment and decision-making
- Participate in educational initiatives, including training medical students
- Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Required:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Florida
- Pediatric or Neonatal Certification strongly preferred
- At least 2 years of neonatal or NICU experience
- Strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills
- Experience with high-risk deliveries and neonatal resuscitations
- Ability to autonomously manage complex neonatal cases
