Nurse Practitioner – Veteran Disability Evaluations

The IMA Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to perform comprehensive medical evaluations for Veterans seeking disability compensation related to service-connected medical conditions. This role is ideal for NPs who enjoy clinical assessment and documentation without the demands of ongoing treatment, patient panels, or on-call responsibilities.
What You’ll Do- Conduct comprehensive medical histories and focused physical examinations
- Review medical records, diagnostic studies, and ancillary testing
- Document clinical findings using VA-required evaluation criteria
- Prepare clear, thorough medical reports addressing the relationship between a Veteran’s condition and military service
- Complete and submit VA-approved questionnaires using our streamlined digital documentation platform
- Master’s degree in Nursing
- Prior clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Strong assessment, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills
- Experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, PM&R, Orthopedics
, or a related specialty is preferred
- Hours:
8:00 AM–4:30 PM - No on-call responsibilities
- No ongoing treatment plans or patient caseloads
- Focus on evaluations, clinical expertise, and meaningful Veteran support
